Afsheen Raza, LASA Foreign Member, received the Outstanding Achievement in Rare‑Disease Researcher Award at the 2026 Fifth MENA Congress for Rare Diseases held in Abu‑Dhabi. As Associate Professor and director of Abu Dhabi University Cancer Research Institute, she was honoured at the three‑day event focused on rare‑disease science and treatment.
