LASA Participates in SciCom Luxembourg 2026

On 24 September 2026, the Luxembourg Academy of Sciences and Arts (LASA) participated in SciCom Luxembourg 2026, the annual networking event for the science communication community organised by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR).

Held at ChouChou Luxembourg, the sixth edition brought together science communicators, researchers, teachers and other professionals active in science communication from Luxembourg and the surrounding region. The programme combined professional networking and exchange with an interactive workshop exploring improvisation as a tool for science communication, as well as collaborative activities encouraging creativity and public engagement with science.

LASA’s participation provided an opportunity to engage with members of Luxembourg’s wider research and science communication community, exchange perspectives and learn more about current approaches to communicating scientific knowledge clearly and effectively.

During the event, LASA also had the opportunity to connect informally with participants affiliated with a range of research, education and science organisations in Luxembourg.

For LASA, responsible knowledge communication is an important part of connecting research, education, culture and society. Participation in local professional exchanges such as SciCom Luxembourg complements the Academy’s wider academic activities and supports continued engagement with Luxembourg’s research and knowledge community.

LASA thanks the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) and the SciCom Luxembourg team for creating an open and welcoming environment for professional exchange and dialogue.
